ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Aware of our environmental responsibility, at Filtros y Mallas de Puebla S.A. de C.V. and Macrofitler LLC, we have decided to take actions that favor the preservation and care of the environment, creating a culture of continuous improvement, minimizing environmental impacts, as well as fully complying with applicable norms and laws. This policy applies generally to all activities and operations of the organization.

Macrofilter LLC and Filtros y Mallas de Puebla S.A. de C.V. commits to:

Generate high-quality products while avoiding environmental impacts.
Minimize the environmental impact and risk of our operations by avoiding the use of pollutants and properly treating the waste generated by the company.
Use energy resources efficiently, maximizing their saving and conservation.
Contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions by managing maintenance, tuning, and vehicle verification plans, and designing delivery routes that allow us to maximize fuel efficiency.
Prioritize the use of raw materials and products from suppliers with a declared environmental commitment, in order to work with our business partners to reduce the environmental impact in our supply chain.
Maintain a work environment respectful of the environment, based on training and promoting this culture among the organization’s personnel and other interested parties.
The manufacturing process of our products does not generate any negative environmental impact, nor does their use. However, to avoid environmental impacts at the end of the product’s useful life, we recommend our customers dispose of them properly, considering that hazardous or non-hazardous waste may be generated, according to the classification of the corresponding environmental norms.
To this end, FMP communicates and raises awareness among interested parties to involve them in the guidelines set out in this strategic Environmental Policy and the current environmental regulations.
