WASHABLE METAL FILTERS
Due to its design and construction, it offers high dust-holding capacity and low air resistance. The washable metal filter is used to remove dust, dirt, lint, or other airborne contaminants. It operates at higher air speeds (500 FPM); the higher the air speed, the greater the inertia of the particles, increasing the likelihood of them colliding with the fibers.
The strategically placed filtration media enhances performance and efficiency by allowing the filter to fully saturate as it captures larger particles at the air inlet and progressively retains smaller particles.
The WASHABLE METAL FILTER is considered a pre-filter or primary filter when moderate air cleaning control is needed. As a pre-filter, it helps protect secondary filters of higher efficiency, extending their lifespan. It is also widely used in kitchen exhaust hoods.
