This pre-pleated filter with activated carbon functions almost like an "odor sponge." This versatile filter is an excellent option in commercial/industrial environments to address minor odor issues. It combines the low resistance and high dust-holding capacity of a pleated filter with odor control.

The most important benefit is its ability to eliminate odors through the activated carbon’s capabilities. The base filtration media is synthetic polyester fiber. It has a generous 100% activated carbon supplement by weight (the weight of the activated carbon is equal to the weight of the media to which it is attached). As odor-producing gases come into contact with the activated carbon in the filter, they are adsorbed, trapped, and retained in millions of microscopic carbon pores.
